A part of my Use Up Fabric Stash 2018 sewing project, this butter yellow apron is made of upcycled cloth of an unknown fiber content, but it’s rather soft to the touch. The patch covers a stain on the material that I could not remove, and I think it adds character to the piece. On the sides of the waistband, there are small, pink hand-embroidered flowers. I am fond of these small touches added onto a garment. It makes them feel less costume-ey and more like something that a real person would wear.
