1700s Silhouette: Hip Pads

These bean-shaped hip pads of upcycled white cotton, stuffed with cotton batting, are attached to a tape to tie around the waist. I have made 3 pairs of these, 2 of the style below and one which is in two separate pieces, each with ties of their own. The latter one is more historically accurate and adjustable to the individual, however, the ones below are easier for me to use and store because they stay together.
